No matter which area you live in, there is a good chance that you have a street food corner around the bend, right? Delhi brings many cultures together, and you can see it playing in your street food. From Rich Mughali favorite to Tibetan snacks, from South Indian Classics to Big Punjabi Flavor – Delhi’s street food markets offer everything you want. Whether you have grown up in Delhi, just transferred here for work, or busing, these spots should be in your list.

There are 10 street food markets that every Foody should go to Delhi:

1. Chandni Chowk

You cannot talk about Delhi Street Food and cannot mention Chandni Chowk. From deep fried paratha and creamy lassi to that rich Rabri-Jelebi plate and wealth like cloud, this market is a food paradise. The vibe changes with the weather – both summer and winter have their own charm. It is best to go a week’s day to avoid huge crowds.

2. Amar Colony

The Amar Colony market is always buzzing, especially with college students and regular. The Hunger Strike is crowded, known for its spicy tandoori momos. You will also find delicious rolls on Tunade Kabbi, Gol Gappa Stalls loads, mocktail counters and coarse shake served in Quarki Cup.

3. Jama Masjid

If non-vegetarian food is your thing, then the Jama Masjid market is one. If it is summer, then definitely try to sharpen the cold love. Dug into smokey kebabs, flavor-pack biryani, and rich royal rukda that tastes just after spicy food.

4. Connaught Place

Connaught Place has both high-end restaurants and solid street food. Try a mini samos at Yogesh Mini Samosa Stall, or walk to the Darshini Cafe for a dosa that hits the spot. And if you are moving towards the masses, then stop at Depall – their cold coffee is mythological and even Shah Rukh Khan swears by it.

5. Lajpat Nagar

Yes, Lajpat Nagar is great for shopping, but the food view here is equally strong. Ram Laddu Food Corner is known for its crisp Ram Laddu which is served with green chutney and grated radish. Then Golden is Fiesta, which is famous for the colored jar ice cream that feels like childhood in a cup.

6. Majnu’s tila

Majnu’s Tila is the place where Tibetan and Korean snacks come together. Start with lafing and spicy YY, then try crisp and hot Korean Corinadogs. Sips on bubble tea while walking – they come in the flavor which you did not know that you liked.

7. Sarojini Nagar

You know Sarojini Nagar for shopping theft, but food is also very solid. The stalls are quick and cheap, and the food is really quite good. Try the nectar kulche from the Kulcha king – they melt in the mouth. Amar Jyoti Restaurant Tandoori Chicken Momos serves which regularly go back.

8. Yashwant place

This is called the Momo Market of Delhi for one reason. This place is filled with momo shops with all types of filler and spicy chutney. You can also dig in chili chicken, garlic noodles, and that smooth indo-chinese fried rice that you always yearn. With plastic chairs, loud music and fast service – this is a hit with a student and office staff.

9. CR Park

If the Bengali food is what you are later, then the CR Park is place. You will find fish cutlets, chicken rolls, puchka, rosogulla and sandesh which remind you of Kolkata. And yes, here are also momo stalls, with chutney that actually make a difference.

10. Karol Bagh

Karol Bagh is more than a shopping hub – it is street food central. Roshan Di Kulfi is famous for Chole Bhechar and creamy Kulfi Faluda. Do not miss the Sindhi corner, where the heart -shaped tikkis is a solid favorite. You will also see Golgappa Cart, Chole Kulche Counters, Munglets, Pasta Stalls, and Mini Appam all in a stretch.
