According to Sonal C Holland, there are 3 alcohol myths, which you should finally let go:
1. Alcohol is good for heart
Red wine contains antioxidants such as resuritrol, which can provide some heart health benefits but only when consumed in moderation. Drinking too much can cause serious health risk, such as high blood pressure and liver damage. Sonal says that the key is moderation, not overgrowth.
2. Tequila will not give you a hangover
It is often said that Tequila hangover does not cause especially high-quality varieties. While the premium tequila has less Congress (compounds responsible for hangover), drinking too much of it will make you feel terrible the next day. The amount you drink really matters, so always keep in mind how much you are drinking, even if it is a twilight.
3. Vodka is a healthy option
Vodka is often called ‘clean’ alcohol due to its low sugar content. However, this does not mean that it is a healthy option. Additional alcohol, regardless of type, pour stress on the liver and can cause long -term damage. Like other types of alcohol, it is important to consume vodka in moderation to avoid health issues.
Here you have some other questions about alcohol:
Is any type of alcohol safe than others?
No alcoholic beverages are really safe. Some can decrease in calories or sugar, but all types of alcohol can affect your liver, heart and overall health over time if not eaten responsibly.
Is it better to drink alcohol with food?
Yes, consuming alcohol with food can slow down its absorption in the bloodstream, reducing its immediate effect and helping to reduce the risk of hangover or feel unhealthy.
