Here are 7 new Mumbai restaurants and bars to try in September-October 2024:

1. Bombay Post, Bandra

Bombay Dak is the latest venture from renowned chefs Niyati Rao and Sagar Neve. In this new bar, the duo behind the award-winning Eka presents “Daru” and “Chakna” that symbolize the rich drinking culture of India. The tasting menu experience allows diners to connect with the team in an open kitchen setting, while the à la carte menu features hyper-local cocktails. Each small plate and drink has been created after a year of extensive research across the country. Plus, this intimate thirty-seat space aims to capture the mood of a pre-colonial Indian bar with dark wooden interiors, hand-painted botanical tiles, restored lamps from old Bombay British whiskey bars and other thoughtful touches. 2. Next Door, Bandra

Diners can enjoy small plates, snacks, sushi, rice bowls and more in a cozy space with clean lines, natural ingredients and a laid-back atmosphere.

4. My, Oh My!, Andheri

As God willing Live Kitchen & Bar is one of the newest developments in Andheri West. The menu features dishes rich with Italian and European flavors paired with handcrafted cocktails. There are also a range of non-alcohol options to choose from. The interior of the restaurant features an open kitchen while the outdoor area features a skylight terrace and home-grown microgreens. Communal tables add to the welcoming atmosphere.

5. Bombay Cartel, Fort

The Bombay Cartel has a spectacular new outpost in Kala Ghoda. The restaurant and bar combines the historical essence of its location with its distinct modern flair. It has also launched a new cocktail menu called ‘Bombay Zara Hatke’. Each drink aims to pay homage to the city’s vibrant culture and heritage. Like its other outlets, Blabber All Day Thane has a beautiful European-inspired decor that makes for a picturesque backdrop for your food, pictures and videos.

7. Rasta Bombay, Khar
