1. Zomato rider delivers food on horseback
In January, a video surfaced of a Zomato delivery agent in Hyderabad riding a horse as a means of transportation. To deal with the challenges of the city he used a trusty horse instead of a two-wheeler. The video shared on X (formerly Twitter) praised the riderâs creativity and adaptability, with some users calling it a âPeak Hyderabadâ moment.

2. âHappy Birthday Himanshu. Send cutleryâ
In February, an Instagram reel went viral featuring a woman who ordered a cake for her brother through Zomato. She requested to write âHappy Birthday Himanshuâ on the cake and unchecked the âDo not send cutleryâ box. When the cake arrived, it had two chocolate toppers â one with the words âHappy Birthday Himanshu,â and the other with the words âSend Cutlery.â In the caption, he joked, âThank you @zomato for the perfect order! We love the extra effort!â

3. Delivery agent prepares for UPSC exam while on duty
In March, a video of a Zomato delivery agent taking UPSC lessons on his phone while stuck in traffic went viral. When the agent arrived, the customer and his family sang âHappy Birthdayâ and gave him a small gift. The caption read, âSpread happiness in whatever way you can. 7. Man receives âsurprisingâ pressure cooker delivery after two years
In August, a man shared his surprise after receiving a pressure cooker ordered in October 2022 from Amazon that was canceled and returned two years later. His post on X sarcastically thanked Amazon, joking, âAfter a long wait the cook is happy; this must be a very special pressure cooker!â
8. Man stuck in traffic, food delivery reaches in 10 minutes
In November, a âPeak Bengaluruâ moment went viral when a man stuck in traffic for two hours ordered dinner from his car. His food arrived within 10 minutes, which surprised him. He posted photos of traffic, delivery handoffs and food on his car seat and captioned it, âThe food is gone, but itâs not the traffic.â
