After the accident, doctors said that even though the young girl was taken to a nearby hospital, only initial stabilization was performed, and due to the lack of specialized microvascular surgical facilities, her family sought further treatment.
“The patient’s skull cracked When her hair got stuck in the generator fan. If the skull transplant was not successful, the patient would have required skin grafting to cover his bare skull bones, leaving him permanently disfigured. The surgery lasted for more than eight hours, and the patient’s recovery so far has been excellent,” he said.
“The patient’s condition has returned to almost normal levels, and she has already returned to school and is living a happy and normal life.”
What is scalp replantation surgery?

This is the preferred option when a cropped area is available because the unique hair-holding properties of the scalp make it difficult to replace by other methods.
