Dentist and Congress party member Dr Shama Mohammedâs recent post on X has sparked a heated debate on the social media platform about the skyrocketing cost of domestic air travel in India. Dr Mohammed shared a post, where he highlighted the extremely high fare of the direct IndiGo flight from Delhi to Kannur. According to the screenshot shared by him, the airfare was between Rs 21,966 and Rs 22,701.
Shocked by the prices, she was seen criticizing the rising prices of domestic flights. He also pointed out the irony that it would be cheaper to fly to Dubai internationally than to travel within India.
After being shared, the post immediately went viral and received a lot of views. âPrices have soared to unbearable heights.
