  • Read below to know more about Bhoomi’s foodie mission in Delhi.

Chole Bhature is a feeling. And when it comes to the best chole bhature, Delhi tops the list. Bhumi Pednekar agrees with us. At her latest pitstop in the national capital, the actress set out on the “ultimate chole bhature hunt”. In a video posted on Instagram, Bhumi and her team were seen walking on the streets of Delhi in the cool winter sun. “I can’t believe I’m once again trying to find food on the streets of another city,” she said in the clip. Bhumi’s culinary explorations led her to Nirula – considered to be the first fast food chain in India. “I feel like I have come to Nirula after 10 years,” Bhumi admitted as she took the table and ordered chole bhature. However, she was disappointed at the restaurant as she found out that Chole Bhature was not available there.

Bhumi Pednekar, a true gastronomical explorer, was not deterred by failure. She again took to the streets to satisfy her craving for Chole Bhature and Chole Kulcha. What else? This time she did not fail. To satisfy her hunger, Bhumi reached the famous Haldiram’s. She couldn’t stop herself from eating a plate of Chole Kulcha first. Bhumi enjoyed crunchy kulchas served with buttery and spicy chickpeas. We also saw chopped onion in the plate. Her smile and the twinkle in her eyes were proof of how much she enjoyed the iconic street food. Bhumi confessed, “I want it… absolutely perfect.” Finally, Bhumi treated her taste buds to Chole Bhature. She was seen in a fun mood, hitting the puffed Bhatura. The text of the video echoes her sentiment – ”Mission accomplished.” Bhumi’s side note read, “On the streets to find Chole Bhature.”

“Chole Kulcha or Chole Bhature?” a fan asked. To this Bhoomi replied, “Started with Chole Kulcha, finished with Bhature.”

Some people suggested, “Try Nagpal next time.” “Momo, eat Nepali momo,” called out another.
