These are 5 herbal drinks to deal with PCOS

Ayurvedic practitioner Dr Dixa Bhavsar Savalia (@drdixa_healingsouls) shared a video on her Instagram handle with 5 herbal drinks that can help you deal with PCOS.

1. Peppermint tea

If you are struggling with increased testosterone and hirsutism and are having trouble ovulating, peppermint tea can help. If you drink it daily in the morning or evening, peppermint tea will promote ovulation and reduce androgens.

2. Sesame-fenugreek tea

An easy recipe to try at home, sesame-fenugreek tea can help promote natural menstrual stimulation. All you need to do is take a pan and add a glass of water, a teaspoon of fenugreek seeds, a teaspoon of sesame seeds, a small piece of jaggery and a teaspoon of turmeric. Boil it on medium flame for 5-7 minutes, strain it and sip it while it is warm. Experts recommend starting drinking it a week before your period starts.

3. Butterfly Pea Flower Tea

If you are suffering from acne due to PCOS, then you should drink butterfly pea flower tea. This tea helps in reducing the cortisol levels in your body, which in turn helps in reducing mood swings, insomnia and other hormonal problems.
