Mendoza to Santiago – Argentina to Chile
Topping the list is the short flight between Mendoza, Argentina and Santiago, Chile. The route crosses the Andes, one of the most rugged mountain ranges in the world. The tour begins in Argentina’s Mendoza region, famous for its wines and olive oil. It then flies west over the Andes to Chile’s capital, Santiago, which lies in a valley surrounded by snowy Andean peaks.
Kathmandu to Lhasa – Nepal to Tibet
This is one of the most turbulent routes in Asia. The 571 kilometer long route passes through the Himalayas, home to some of the world’s highest peaks. This is also the main reason for the unrest here.
Kathmandu to Paro – Nepal to Bhutan
The flight between Kathmandu, Nepal and Paro, Bhutan is another turbulent route. It flies over high mountains – thus having strong wings.
Nice from Geneva – France to Switzerland
In Europe, flying from Nice to Geneva faces considerable turbulence. This route flies over the Alps – making it subject to strong winds.
