A groundbreaking move that promises to redefine the in-flight experience, Vistara has become the first Indian airline to offer free Wi-Fi on its international routes. This innovative move brings India at par with global aviation standards, allowing passengers to stay connected even at an altitude of 35,000 feet.
Vistara’s fleet of Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner and Airbus A321neo aircraft are now equipped with high-speed internet connectivity, ensuring seamless browsing and streaming. While passengers can enjoy up to 20 minutes of free Wi-Fi, additional data packs can be purchased for additional usage.

In a post on X, the airline said, “Don’t miss important updates even at 35000 feet! Get 20 minutes of free in-flight Wi-Fi, a first in Indian aviation. You can now purchase selected plans using Indian credit/debit cards in addition to internationally issued credit cards.”
According to reports, Vistara passengers travelling internationally can now stay connected with various Wi-Fi options. All Club Vistara members enjoy free unlimited messaging throughout their flight. For other passengers, unlimited messaging via apps such as WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger is available at Rs 372.74 plus GST.

Whether it is keeping track of work emails, streaming entertainment or staying updated on social media, passengers can now make the most of their flight time.
