all about Zero Festival
Surrounded by the sacred Ganges and surrounded by the majestic Himalayas, Rishikesh is the ideal location for this festival. Zero, which is currently hosting its 9th edition, is not your typical festival with a busy schedule or Instagram-worthy pomp. Instead, it flips the script by celebrating the beauty of simplicity and doing less. Attendees can immerse themselves in yoga sessions, sound healing treatments to quiet the inner noise, and guided meditations that reconnect you to the present moment.
Evenings at Shunya are equally magical, featuring storytelling, live music under the stars and intimate fireside conversations that foster meaningful connections. “Zero is more than just a festival. It is a place where you can stop, reflect and discover your authentic self,” says Anuj Aggarwal, one of the curators of the festival. “We have CEOs, artists and entrepreneurs sit together and build relationships that go beyond their roles. Here, everyone is just human.

sustainability
Zero takes its commitment to sustainability as seriously as it does its commitment to mindfulness. Think workshops on zero-waste practices, eco-friendly housing and sustainable living. It is a gentle attempt to go beyond the boundaries of the festival and make conscious choices.
Festival alumni often describe the experience as life-changing, incorporating mindfulness lessons into everyday routines that create positive transformative effects.
