This year, the event started on 13 January. The festivities will end on February 26. Lakhs of pilgrims take a dip in the river during the month-long event. The sacred bathing ritual is also known as Amrit Snan. Now, Amul has also joined the celebration with a present. As always, it’s marking a historic moment in a signature way. The dairy brand has created an illustration of a woman wearing a saree. She is praying in the holy river with a man who looks like a priest. The text on the illustration read – “Confluence of Ustav and Utsav.” It said, “Amul – Maha Butter.”
