Veg Manchurian is a desi-chinese dish that wins our hearts just one bite. An anger among each Chinese lover, it holds a continuous place on a menu card on each Chinese food joint. It is one of the most ordered dishes for all a food van in your area or a good dining restaurant in the city, Veg Manchurian. And when combined with noodles or rice, it makes for a complete food that no one can resist.

Do you know that you can also make Veg Manchurian at your home, which you are like ordering from your favorite Chinese joint?! There is a simple recipe here that will help you prepare a vegetarian Manchurian without any conflict.

This recipe has been shared by Vlogger Parul Jain on his YouTube channel ‘Cook with Parul’. Along with the recipe, he also shared some tips that will help you in completely crispy veg balls for the dish.

7 tips for making vegetarian balls for restaurant-style, Veg Manchurian Recipe:

  • The cabbage you are using to make vegetarian balls needs to be finely tight. You can use a Greater or Chopper to do the work basically.
  • Add the masala to the correct amount of grated cabase. Do not add water to the mixture to avoid stability like a batsman.
  • Always add both maida and corn starch to make vegetarian balls crispy. Add maida and corn starch in 2: 1 ratio.
  • You can also use rice flour instead of cornflor.
  • Do not make the right round balls with cabbage mixture. Make sure that vegetarian balls have cracks that will help to taste the sauce.
  • Always fry the Manchurian balls when the oil is hot. Fry until the oil is super-hot. This will make the veg balls a friend.
  • Fry vegetarian balls twice to get the right crisp.

How to make a vegetarian Manchurian of restaurant-style at home. Restaurant-style vegetarian Manchurian Recipe:

Once vegetarian balls are fried, garlic, ginger, onion, green chillies, capsicum, black pepper, soy sauce, chilli sauce, make a spicy gravy with samat and cornflour slurry. Add vegetarian balls to the gravy and mix. If you prefer dry veg Manchurian, make a small amount of gravy and cook vegetarian balls in it until the dish is dry.
