He beat Taylor Swift by a margin of 21,000 followers. This historic moment did not go unnoticed, especially in India, where the brand is known for its timely and creative advertisements. In its signature style, the dairy giant promptly recognised Singh’s achievement with a special timely advertisement.

Amul’s ad features the brand’s iconic mascot, the Amul Girl, as Arijit Singh holding a guitar.
