Why silence is one of the most powerful treatment techniques

Between the constant nonsense, which is both external and internal, we rarely find time for peace. But a one -day retreat surrounded by nature experienced me silence, open conversation and sound treatment power.

Sound healing retreat

A specific day for a working professional begins with a cutter, filled with rubbish, and ends with even more nonsense. And this is just external noise. Constant mental chatter and information in information overload, and still rarely a moment. We are so stuck in everything near us that we forget the simple bliss of silence. The last time you were still allowing yourself to happen without a screen, without agenda?
Over the last weekend, I experienced true peace and its effects were well unbreakable in the week.
In the midst of all chaos, finding time for silence seems like a luxury. But the same thing is that this one -day retreat migrated the perfect migration of Zorba The Buddha by Pulse. It began with an organic, intimate lunch, where the group gathered before settling in our rooms. The setting was cool in itself – an organic hut with bamboo roofs, mud walls, soil suheis for water and distant sound of peacocks.
One of the most unexpected happiness was talking openly in a room filled with strangers. There is something free about sharing your struggles without fear of decision. Everyone talked about the roles that brought them under stress. While we often believe that women take the brunt of all this, men had to open their eyes to hear about their own burden. They feel pressure to give their families a comfortable life, often ignore their goodness in this process. On the other hand, women talked about maternity, career, care and barely finding time for themselves.
With the feeling of how we rarely prioritize ourselves, we went into sound treatment. We lie in a circle- the therapy was using bowls and other equipment to make companies, creating a deep, almost meditative state. Some people were away from dozens and snoring. When we “wake up”, there was a collective feeling of calm. Hilers encouraged us to sit in silence every day, even if for just five minutes. “Let your mind wander, but make it a practice. Over time, you will learn to calm the noise,” we were told.
That retreat was a turn. Since then, I have started appreciating the quiet moments that I once ignored. Where my mind was closed, I am now learning to clean it. This is a long journey that I believe, but the biggest tech from this retreat is that the silence is not empty, it is full of clarity, treatment and peace.
