Eggs are a staple component in countless charming and sweet dishes, from quint and cake to cookies and fresh bread. They are also a popular choice for breakfast favorite such as amelets and fried eggs. While the stores kept in the refrigerator are fresh for a long time, they can sometimes deteriorate internal without any visible signals on the shell. So, how can you tell if an egg accidentally deteriorated before mixing with a fresh batch? We have the answer.

Recently, we came in a video of a fitness affected, which shared a simple trick to tell a good egg from a bad. First, turn on the flashlight of your phone and place it on a flat surface. Then, set the egg over the light. If the egg shines with yellow color from within, it is fresh and safe to use. However, if there is no light, it is an indication that the egg has deteriorated. To prove the method, the manufacturer opened the egg after testing it, and of course enough, it was rotten.
