Here are 5 most popular types of dates

More than 200 varieties are grown worldwide, but some stand out for their taste, texture and nutritional materials.

1. Medjool date –

Often called the “king of the date”, medjools are large, soft and brilliantly sweet. They are rich in calories and natural sugars such as fructose and glucose, which makes them ideal for increasing energy and weight gain.

2. Dates of Deglet Noor –

Slightly dry and less sweet than medjool, the dates of Deglet Noor are stronger and more subtle, walnuts taste. They are often used in cooking and baking.

3. Ase’s dates –
