In the concrete forests of corporate life, where the time limit is tight, the meetings are endless, and coffee is a food group, Sahil Malhotra was quietly waging war, not on contestants or quarterly goals, but on his own health. At the age of 28, he had a job, desk, never ending email … and weight weighing 118 kg more than just the scale.
“I saw one day in the mirror and just did not recognize the person back staring back,” he says. It was not the moment of a dramatic film, no thunder clap or swollen background music, but it was the spark that burnt fuse. Sahil was not after six-pack ABS or magazine cover; He just wanted to feel light, inside and out.
Build a permanent lifestyle
Fittr became both his coaches, his guide and guru in Lavesh Bhagtani. After this, the journey was not a quick sprint, but there was a patient race, which was watching in two years and four months. Target? sustainability. Sahil explains, “It was not about a crash diet or miracle workout.” “It was about habits – how to eat, move, and think.”
Challenges, crawings, and coach knowledge
Sahil’s greatest battle was with everyday, from late night’s biping sessions to packets of sweet knot, with a packet of sweet knots, the days of the first practice from the days of the gym. Instead, it was about the balance: its workouts, enough proteins to fuel to carbs that did not come with guilt, and fat that did not sabotage. Add to a workout regime built on strength and cardio, and Sahil was not just losing weight, he was creating a new life.
The mirror that once gives rise to discomfort, now reflects someone who is confident, energetic and joyful. “I feel not only physically, but emotionally light. I stand long in meetings. I sleep better. I now dance at weddings,” they say.
Of course, it was not all smooth sailing. Life threw his curreball- work work, slow progress, day when Prerna hid and searched. But Sahil kept returning to his “why”. He collected a small victory like a badge; Fitting in old clothes, feeling low breath, eliminating that additional representative. And he kept going.
Their advice to others?
“Start small. Don’t wait to align the stars. Find a coach that you get, and keep showing. You don’t need to be right – just exist current.”
Sahil’s change is not only visible in the pictures before and after. This is how he speaks, walks, and lives. It is in the belief that there is no need to be fake anymore. And it is in simple but powerful feeling that health is not a destination, it is a daily decision.
