Sonam Kapoor’s son Vayu turned two, the spectacular birthday cake was the main attraction of the party

Actress Sonam Kapoor and businessman Anand Ahuja celebrated their son Vayu’s second birthday with great pomp on August 20, 2024. The couple hosted a lavish birthday party, glimpses of which they shared on their Instagram handles. The party included beautiful balloon decorations in black, blue and gold along with fun activities like live guitar performances. However, what stood out was the spectacular birthday cakes – yes, there were four!
The main attraction was a three-tiered cake with blue, black, white and gold colours. It was a sophisticated sugar-free chocolate cake with an eye-catching edible bike placed on a revolving middle tier. The largest lower tier, featured a black and white checkerboard pattern with a golden spanner. Surrounding the cake were cookies and cupcakes.

The second cake was full of grandeur and charm, which was completely white in colour, with a white lion sticker, silver disco ball, silver leaves and a glittery crown. Written on the cake was “Vayu is Two.”

The last two cakes were coloured blue, black and white in keeping with the party’s colour scheme. One had the message “Vayu turns 2”, while the other had a topper that read “Two for 2 curious.” Both cakes were decorated with theme-coloured balls of different sizes.

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja married in May 2018 and welcomed their son Vayu in August 2022.
