3rd edition of Nagaland Autumn Festival It is scheduled to be held from October 18-20 at Nagaland House in the capital. At the Festival, now in its third edition, you can expect a preview of the Hornbill Festival, perfect for those looking to visit Nagaland for the ‘Festival of Festivals’ later this year.

The report quoted Temjen Imna Along, Honorable Minister of Tourism and Higher Education, Government of Nagaland as saying. “Nagaland is all set to host the 25th edition of the Hornbill Festival, but before the mega event, we aim to provide an immersive experience for those who are unable to attend Nagaland through the Autumn Festival. With this, we aim to increase the understanding of those who intend to travel for the festival, ensuring they know what to expect. This effort also helps to foster friendship and create a sense of familiarity with each other’s cultures. Given that Delhi is the capital and is a mix of diverse communities and cultures, it is an ideal location for this festival,” he shared.

At the festival you can expect to see a glimpse of the arts, crafts, culture and business of the eastern state. When here, be sure to enjoy a culinary journey with authentic Naga cuisine, known for its spicy taste and unique ingredients. The local people of Nagaland will also showcase indigenous weaving and handicraft techniques through live demonstrations.
