In an effort to promote tourism, Indonesia Has announced visa-free travel to 96 countries. The new visa-free policy now allows citizens of 96 countries, including the USA, Japan, UK, UAE and Mexico, to enter Indonesia without a visa.
In May 2024, international tourist arrivals to Indonesia increased significantly, reaching 1.15 million visitors. The majority of these visitors came from neighboring countries, led by Malaysia (17.47%), Australia (11.98%) and Singapore (9.69%).
As a result, citizens of 96 countries can travel to Indonesia without a visa, including citizens of France, Germany, Australia, Japan, the United States, and Singapore. This comprehensive visa-free policy has made Indonesia more accessible.
