Viral video shows vendor selling coconut water in London, internet reacts

Picture this: You’re walking down the street on a hot and humid afternoon when you see a vendor selling fresh coconut water. One sip and the distinctive flavor hits your taste buds. It’s like getting a piece of heaven, right? Not just in India, the beloved coconut water aka Nariyal Pani is loved globally. We don’t believe? Then you have to watch this video where a vendor is selling this delicious drink on the streets of London. Yes, you read that correctly. This clip shared by a vlogger on Instagram is making waves online.

The video begins with scenes of a vendor selling coconut water in a unique set-up in the back of a car. Tender coconuts are displayed on the top of the car and on a table in front of the seller. Some passersby can be seen curiously observing the seller and his unique selling process. Approaching the seller, the food vlogger says, “1 dedo bhaiya jaldi jaldi (give me one coconut water quickly).” Without wasting a second, the seller takes a knife, cuts a part of the skin and makes a precise hole in the coconut before giving it to the vlogger. “Lelo (take it),” he says in Hindi. The video ends with the seller shouting, “Nariyal. Drink coconut water. (coconut, drink coconut water)”, like vendors in India who attract customers with a distinctive pitch in their voices.

Imitating the seller, one person commented, “Nariyaaaaaaal!! “Drink coconut water.”

Another wrote, “We found a coconut water guy in London before GTA6.”

This person claimed that “Hindi is soon going to become an international language.”

One user called the entire scenario “reverse colonization”.

One comment read, “Karnataka resident crying in the corner.”

Some people pointed out that the seller resembled basketball star LeBron James. “You look like King James”.
