Recently, the makers of CID did the unthinkable by unveiling the official promo, giving the biggest news to all the loyal fans of the show. Yes, one of the most iconic Indian television shows is making a comeback on the small screen with a bang, and the excitement is at its peak. With the return of the original lead cast, the hype is unreal, and amidst this, we will be taking another look at the salaries of the actors associated with the show. So in today’s edition we will see how much salary Dayanand Shetty got!

The Indian crime investigation show started in 1998, and it is noteworthy that all the lead actors remained intact from the beginning to the end. While the producers should be appreciated for creating content that has kept the audience engaged for years, the actors have contributed to making the show iconic over the years.

Dayanand Shetty was a part of CID from the beginning and within a few episodes he became widely popular. Her physique, attitude and display of strength won the hearts of audiences within no time and her character of Daya became iconic. Overall, it is difficult to imagine the show without Shetty’s presence.

For Dayanand Shetty’s immense contribution and huge popularity, the makers of CID paid him huge amount over the years. The show came to a close in 2018, and although the exact number is not known, it is rumored that the actor was paid approx. Rs 85,000 To shoot each episode in 2018.

If this is true, then Dayanand Shetty was paid well by the producers and it is slightly less than Shivaji Satam’s remuneration. Satam alias ACP Pradyuman allegedly used to receive 1 lakh for each episode in 2018. So, if compared, Shetty is just 15% behind.

Meanwhile, CID is returning to TV after a gap of six years and is expected to go on air in December.
