City Palace Jaipur

Known for its grandeur and stunning location, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of India’s most iconic forts and one of its oldest forts, built in 1592 by Raja Man Singh and later rebuilt by successive rulers. Nahargarh Fort
Built in 1734 by the founder of Jaipur, Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, Nahargarh was initially built as a shelter and a defense fort, connecting the city’s security ring with the Amer and Jaigarh forts. The name of the fort, meaning “abode of tigers”, is based on a legend involving the spirit of Prince Nahar Singh Bhomiya, whose restless spirit is said to have influenced the construction of the fort. Architecturally, the Nahargarh Fort is adorned with ornate frescoes and has a blend of Indo-European design, with the Madhavendra Bhawan being a standout feature.
