Whenever we decide to lose weight, the first thing that comes to mind is exercise. We have this belief that exercise can help us change ourselves, which is true to some extent, but it is not the only thing that can help us lose weight. We need the right approach, right strategy, a strict diet that suits our body and changes in our lifestyle can help in healthy weight loss. So what should you do on a daily basis to help you lose those extra kilos? Amber Clemens, personal coach (according to her Instagram bio), shares on her Instagram that she has lost 160 pounds (72 kg) by following a few things daily.
She shared her reel where she revealed 5 habits she did every day that helped her lose 160 pounds. āThe foundation of sustainable, lasting weight loss is what we do every day and most of the time. Were there days when I didnāt do all this? Absolutely! But I did them most of the time. And if I couldnāt make them all happen, at least I tried to make some of them happen. Daily work habits are giving yourself standards to hit and a reason to celebrate your hard work every day!ā her caption read.

5 things Amber does daily to lose weight
1. Complete step count- 7-10K steps per day
Even with a desk job, Amber made sure to walk 7-10 thousand steps every day. She would park her car further to get extra walking, take the longer route to the washroom, or walk around her apartment to complete the step count.
2. Drink 3 liters of water
Most people donāt do this which can keep them dehydrated. Hydration is key, and drinking at least three liters of water helps the body stay hydrated and healthy.
3. 25-30 grams of protein
She used to eat at least 25-30 grams of protein in every meal and tried to have 5-10 grams of protein in breakfast. This helped him reach his daily protein intake target.
4. Log meals for the next day in advance
Amber said she had already logged her meals for the next day before going to bed. This helped him because he did not have to wake up and decide what to take and it also saved him time.
5. Adding something sweet to the day:
Whether itās a sweet snack at night or an after-work snack, Amber incorporates something sweet into her diet during the day to curb her cravings.
