“Like many women, I focused primarily on cardioYoga and Pilates,” Ivanka revealed in her video. However, she has since shifted her focus to weightlifting and resistance training, which she describes as “transformational”. Ever since I reposted a video with my trainer, I’ve been getting a lot of questions about my workout routine, so I thought I’d share a little about my fitness journey. Like many women, I used to focus mainly on cardio, yoga, and Pilates. Since moving to Miami, I’ve shifted my focus to weightlifting and resistance training, and it’s helped me build muscle and tone my body. has been transformative in ways I couldn’t have imagined,” her caption read.
“I believe in a strength training approach built on basic, time-tested and simple movements—squats, deadlifts, hinges, pushes and pulls. These are the cornerstone of my workouts, which emphasize functional strength for life. It is necessary to give priority to form; That’s when I gain weight. This ensures a safe and steady progression while maintaining the integrity of each movement. I incorporate mobility work into my sessions to increase my range of motion. Weightlifting has not only increased my strength but my overall athletic ability and flexibility. I now dedicate 3-4 days/week to strength training,” her caption further read.
Ivanka’s workout regimen
Ivanka’s strength training routine revolves around functional activities, including:

“These are the cornerstone of my workouts, which emphasize functional strength for life,” Ivanka explains. Now, Ivanka dedicates three to four days a week to strength training while also enjoying a weekly yoga session. She also incorporates short, high-intensity interval training (HIIT) sessions, such as 10-minute sprints, to maintain cardiovascular fitness.
Apart from going to the gym, Ivanka also goes out to keep herself fit. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her children and friends, engaging in activities such as surfing, paddle tennis, swimming, wake surfing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, hiking, walking, and golf.
