The Reddit post reads, “Today, I (27M) asked our cook if he knew any maids in the area who could clean our flat. He said yes, but told us he would be more likely to do the cleaning and washing dishes. Will take Rs 3000. I told him our previous maid took Rs 2000, as it is a small 2BHK and his maid’s salary is Rs 2000, while his cook takes Rs 2500 per person. I was shocked to know that it was Rs 1000, while he was willingly paying more for 1BHK just bangalore things.”
