Taco Bell is a fast-food restaurant company that has been serving crispy tortilla wraps filled with delicious fillings for years. Recently, an incident involving a customer complaint has shocked internet users. On July 24, Jeremy, a resident of Suffolk, Virginia, ordered two Steak Cheesy Street Chalupas from Taco Bell, he reported. After the first bite, he felt âsomething pointyâ hitting the back of his throat. The same thing happened with the next bite. This time the object hit his molars. Jeremy was very surprised when he spit out the object, he discovered it was a nose ring.

As a result of the bite, the ornament twisted and went into the roof of Jeremyâs mouth. âIt bit a small part of my mouth, and (I) felt a slight sharp pain from the bite. When I realized what it was I was in complete shock. I looked at my wife, and she couldnât say anything either,â Jeremy said, as reported by Newsweek. The âpainâ caused him to feel sick for two days and later developed a sore throat.

Jeremy shared his experience on Reddit, posting a few photos of the nose ring he found in his breakfast. Social media users reacted to his post. One person said, âI will definitely go back and bring this to their attention.â An angry Reddit user added, âFor me, this should be a ticket to 5 years of free chalupas.â

âGo straight to Taco Bell corporate about this. Tell them you will also contact your local food safety inspectors. You need to report this. This is a huge health code violation,â someone suggested. Upset by the incident, one commented, âI will never have Taco Bell againâ
Following the unpleasant incident, Taco Bell released a statement to Newsweek that read, âWe take this very seriously. We are investigating the matter and working to make things right with the customer.â
