Dr. Pal says this diet is simple and convenient. “It is simple, convenient and most importantly, you can be consistent in your portion sizes. And, it also reduces decision fatigue and prevents the impulsiveness of overeating. When you are planning it in advance, you need to make sure that you meet all the macros on a daily basis.”
In the interview, Sharma says, “I think I ate idli sambar for breakfast for six months.”
Elaborating on this, Dr Pal says, “The fermentation of lentils in the idli and sambar has produced good bacteria in her gut, which has stimulated her gut microbiome, leading to beautiful absorption of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, which is what results in her glowing skin.”
