Ayushmann Khurrana is fond of food. The actor decided to enjoy the traditional Punjabi sweet Panjiri on Sunday. It seems that the actor had homemade Panjiri using famous chef Ranveer Brar’s recipe. Ayushmann took to his Instagram Stories to share the delightful outcome of his culinary adventure. Posting a picture of Panjiri with Ranveer Brar’s recipe book, he wrote, a journey through indiaAyushmann proudly captioned the image, “Panjeeri and (Ranveer Brar)’s recipe,” and added a heartfelt “Thank you paaji” along with soulful emojis. The photo shows a container filled with golden, crispy sweets along with a cookbook.

For those unfamiliar, Panjiri is a favorite North Indian dish made from whole wheat flour, Ghee (clarified butter), sugar, and a mixture of dried fruits and nuts like cashews, almonds, and raisins. It is often made during festivals or as a nutritious breakfast. The dish is flavored with cardamom and sometimes saffron, which infuses it with a rich, aromatic flavour.
Last month, the actor was seen dining at Chef Vikas Khanna’s iconic New York restaurant, Bungalow. The fine dining hotspot has become a favorite among celebrities, and Ayushmann’s visit has further added to its growing fame. The restaurant has attracted many high-profile guests including Aamir Khan, Sarah Jessica Parker and even billionaire Jeff Bezos. In a heart-touching post on Instagram, Vikas Khanna shared that he served Ayushmann the same food that he had earlier prepared for Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan.
