Bird Flu in India: The Animal Husbandry Department in Maharashtra has affected more than 7000 poultry birds in Maharashtra with a bird flu or H5N1 avian influenza after seven areas after destroying more than 2,000 eggs from January this year. According to officials, most outbreaks have been reported in unorganized and backyard poultry forms.
The latest outbreak was reported from Mangli village in Chandrapur district, where at least 2,065 birds were killed at a distance of 5 km from the area where the first incident was reported. According to the protocol, all birds, eggs and animal fodder are to be destroyed within the wrath radius.

Maharashtra identifies six subscribers

Officials said that till now Maharashtra has reported seven sub -centers of bird flu incidents from Latur, Nanded, Nagpur, Thane, Raigad and Chandrapur districts. Apart from poultry, bird flu has been informed in tigers, leopards, vultures and crows.
To date, 693 animals and birds have been killed due to flu, including cats, placed at Gorwada Rescue Center in Nagpur. Three white-supported vultures have also been killed in the center from bird flu.
Officials of the Animal Husbandry Department said that now no case has been reported from organized poultry firms, who have allegedly taken bio-protection measures and have ensured that their bird They do not come in contact with birds.

Alert sound in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana

There has also been a stir in Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh, where sudden deaths of chickens have been identified due to the H5N1 virus. Many chickens have allegedly died in AP and parts of Telangana due to viruses. In Khammam and Sathupalli, as well as a significant number of chickens in both Godavari districts.
The state animal husbandry department had sent samples of dead chickens to Bhopal for diagnosis, which confirmed the avian influenza as the cause of deaths.
According to experts, the virus is spread by migratory birds that visit Kollaru region every year from different countries during the winter season. Experts say that when birds defecated in water, the virus reached the reservoirs. It is estimated that chickens became infected through water.
