Amul’s topical often celebrate various achievements that have been won by various individuals, teams or organizations. But one of its recent topics did not focus on a milestone, but a moment that could be one – it was not for a mistake. On 21 February 2025, India faced against Bangladesh at Dubai International Stadium. During the match, Indian bowler Axar Patel got the opportunity to take the first hat -trick by an Indian in the Champions Trophy, and only the second in the history of the tournament. However, when he fell a straight hold by Captain Rohit Sharma, he missed his opportunity.

Amul’s topic showed both Rohit and Exer on the pitch. Rohit Sharma is depicted with a disappointing look on his face as he drops the bowl. In the second part of the portrayal, the bowler is seen with an expression that is shocking – when a historic hat trick collapses on his expectations. Amul, of course, included the Wordplay in its topic. The words at the top read, “Aisa is an exerry hai.” The punishment is on the name “Exer”, which looks similar to the Hindi word “Akarsar”, which often means. Thus it is written in the sentence, “It does not happen often.” Amul also always includes reference to its most popular product in its topical. In this case, the subtitle “Butterfingers” was a great fit for obvious reasons! In the caption, the brand wrote, “#Amul Samayak: Rohit Sharma caught the spinner refusing his hat -trick!”
