Many people prefer subudana dishes while fast during Chaitra Navratri 2025.

As Chaitra Navratri approaches, many people prepare to inspect the fast for all nine days while worshiping Goddess Durga in their nine forms. During special VRAT meals, materials such as onion and garlic are usually avoided. One of the most popular foods consumed during this fasting period is Sabdana (sago or tapioca pearl), known for its many health benefits. Rich in carbohydrates, calcium, fiber, protein, iron and vitamins, Sabdana is a highly nutritious option for Chaitra Navratri, especially after a long time of fasting. Instead of eating the same Sabdana dish every day, you can experiment with various preparations to keep your food exciting and flavored.
Here is a list of five subdana cuisine that you can do on Chaitra Navratri 2025:
1) Subudana Kheer
In fasting days, it is probably the most common sweet dish made in many houses. This pudding made with sago, milk and sugar, does not require much effort. Top it with dried fruits and cardamom powder.
