Chika announces the launch of its much-anticipated new World Cuisine menu with a selection of global cuisines.

When Chika opened a few years ago, our Instagram feed was filled with pictures of this beautiful place that mesmerized everyone in Delhi. The flower-filled arch at the entrance and the small path leading to the restaurant’s garden were the favourite picture taking spots of visitors. It was Delhi’s newest attraction that attracted people to Chika. Now we have another reason to dine there – their new menu.

Chika, founded by Dinesh Arora, announced the launch of its much-awaited new World Cuisine menu with a curated selection of global cuisines. ‘Progressive Global Cuisine’ lets patrons enjoy ‘Fusion Pan Asian, “The Art of Patisserie”, ‘European Tapas & Grills, and more. Chika’s new menu is committed to using local and seasonal ingredients, ensuring a menu that evolves with the changing seasons.

I fell in love with Chica ever since it opened – its serene garden, its luxurious interiors, the peppy music and of course – the food. So, now that I got to know about the new flavours on the menu, I had to give it a try.

The staff gave me a warm welcome and as soon as I sat down, mixologist Noor gave us some great cocktails to try. She even tried her best to create her own secret creation which is not on the menu. It was surprisingly delicious. Other cocktails that I really liked were the Whiskey Sour and the Call Me Chica.

Now, let’s talk about the new food menu. If you love soup, you have to start your meal with the Chia Khao Suey. It’s creamy, hearty and very tasty – basically, it’s everything you need to calm your stomach while waiting for the rest of the meal. But I didn’t really have to wait long as the staff kept bringing me one delicious dish after another. In no time, my table was filled with food that not only looked delicious but actually tasted delicious too.

I highly recommend the Chicken Yan Sui (Sesame Chicken with Coriander) and the Chili Oil Chicken Wonton. Both dishes were absolutely delicious and gave my taste buds the spice they needed. I can’t miss shrimp when I eat out, and Chika’s Prawn Sui Mai satisfied my craving just right. The shrimp was cooked perfectly to my liking – another dish on my recommendation list. Almost all of the other dishes I tried impressed me equally. I remember gobbling up the Chicken Teriyaki Bao and even though my stomach was full, my heart wasn’t.

Delicious food, great hospitality and a wonderful ambiance made my evening special, but the most special part was the desserts and the cake brought specially for my husband’s birthday celebration. It was exactly the experience we wanted, and thanks to Chika, we got more than we expected.

I can’t wait to go back to Chica for another enjoyable evening.
