Coldplay concert: how to book special trains, know the timings and everything else
Coldplay concert organizers – BookMyShow and Western Railways have started special trains in both the cities.

If you’re planning to attend Coldplay’s much-awaited concert in Mumbai this weekend or in Ahmedabad next weekend, finalizing your travel arrangements should be the first thing on your to-do list. Concert days in Mumbai mean deadly traffic and to cater to this, the organiser, BookMyShow and Western Railways have introduced special trains in both the cities.
Special trains for Coldplay
For the concerts scheduled from 6 to 10 pm at DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on January 18, 19 and 21, the organizers have arranged for Full Tariff Rate (FTR). This means that they have booked the entire local train to accommodate the large crowd. On January 18 and 19, the train will depart from Goregaon at 2 pm, reaching Nerul at 3:23 pm via Wadala Road station. The return journey will depart from Nerul at 11:04 pm, reaching Goregaon at 12:30 am.
On January 21, the local train will depart from Goregaon at 2:50 pm, which will reach Nerul at 6:18 pm. For the return journey, the train will depart from Nerul at 10:50 pm and reach Goregaon at 12:15 am. The fare for the service has been fixed at Rs 500.
For the Ahmedabad concert at Narendra Modi Stadium, two special “Winter Special” trains have been arranged.
- The first train will depart from Bandra Terminus at 6:15 am, reaching Ahmedabad at 2:00 pm on January 25 and at 1:00 pm on January 26.
- The second train will leave from Bandra Terminus at 12:50 pm, which will reach Ahmedabad at 8:30 am.
These special trains will stop at Borivali, Vapi, Udhna, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara and Geratpur.
