The health factor of your chocolate cake really depends on what goes into it. Choose high-fibre and high-protein ingredients, and you can enjoy this sweet treat without any hassle. But if you go the traditional way with sugar, refined flour and butter, your chocolate cake might not be the healthiest choice.

Is This Chocolate Mug Cake Weight Loss Friendly?

This mug cake recipe uses jowar and oats flour instead of regular flour. These flours are rich in fibre and nutrients, making them a great alternative. Also, this recipe includes olive oil and jaggery, which further enhances its nutritional properties. It’s all about keeping your diet on track as well as eating healthy.

How to make chocolate mug cake for weight loss | Easy chocolate cake recipe

Are you ready to eat? First, put the jowar flour, oat flour, cocoa powder, molasses and baking powder into a microwave-safe mug. Mix them all together and then add the wet ingredients: olive oil and low-fat milk. Microwave the batter on full power for about two minutes. Check by inserting a toothpick – if it comes out clean, your cake is ready to eat! If not, give it another minute in the microwave.
