Attention, Bengali food lovers! There is exciting news that will make your taste buds dance. The famous 6 Ballygunge Place, known for serving authentic Bengali cuisine, has recently opened a new outlet in Malviya Nagar, New Delhi. Now, you don’t have to travel all the way to Bengal to enjoy their delicious menu! I got the chance to visit their new location at the Aldeco Center and try their special ‘Grand Opening Menu’ – and trust me, it was a treat to remember. The cozy pastel interiors of the restaurant, mixed with traditional motifs, instantly transported us to Bengal, making the experience even more immersive.
we started with Bhaja Masala Aloo Dum – Potatoes made crispy with a tangy, spicy flavor Fish Fry with KasundiA true crowd-pleaser. an extraordinary thing was Chhana Motorshutir ChopFilled with paneer and green peas. And we must not forget that post narkel sackA crisp blend of coconut and vetiver, which left us wanting more.

For the main course, we had to try Kosha MangshoA delicious and spicy mutton curry paired with soft, pillowy luchis. The mutton was incredibly tender, and we were hooked from the first bite. to carry – Delicious lentil cakes in spicy gravy – and spring has started They were equally impressive. Each dish was bursting with traditional Bengali flavours, leaving us wanting more, even though we were already full!

Although stuffed, we can’t forget dessert! Baked Mihidana with Rabdi It was a treat for both the eyes and the palate, while Chhanar Malpoa Disappeared within a few minutes. But the showstopper? Nolengurr Ice Cream – a delightful scoop that instantly won our hearts. If you are fond of Bengali food, head to 6 Ballygunge Place for a soul-satisfying meal that will take you straight to the streets of Kolkata.
