Recently, a viral post about an unusual catering decision has taken X by storm. An X user named Susmita (@shhuushhh_) shared a photo that showed a Swiggy food delivery agent in a corner. The photo appeared to be taken inside a tent erected for a special event. On a long table, stacks of sealed black boxes containing food were seen. Bottles of cold drinks were kept nearby and water bottles were seen on another table nearby. The X user captioned the photo, “They ordered food online for an engagement ceremony?? Bhaiya I have seen it all.”

The original X post has over 215K views so far. Users were amused by the idea and posted funny comments in response. Many jokes were about the reactions of confectioners and regular caterers to Swiggy replacing them. Some made jokes about other examples of “jugaad” that the couple might have done. For instance, one user joked that they would have booked their transport via Ola/Uber. Another claimed that this kind of engagement ceremony is very much in the “Gen-Z” style.
