Matt Preston is on another delicious food tour. The Australian food critic and writer had a soft spot for traditional Indian cuisine, which we often see on his social media. Matt’s gastronomical adventure this time took him to Jaipur where he indulged his interest in a variety of desi cuisine. In a recently posted video, Matt can be seen at the shop of famous lassiwala Kishan Lal Govind Narayan Agarwal, who is known for selling lassi in earthen glasses. It is believed to add a delicious aroma to dairy drinks. The vendor pours the thick and creamy lassi into glasses and pours heavy cream on top. Matt takes a sip and it’s clear he tastes every bit of it.
Next, Matt Preston decided to try something delicious. His culinary skills took him to a multi-cuisine restaurant – LMB. Our attention was drawn to the Raj Kachori and Samosas being fried. Matt enjoyed Doodhfeeni, fried Imarti and Boondi Chaat garnished with Bhujiya. Stay a foodie, there’s more. Emmett enjoyed the soft and smooth taste of freshly prepared mawa and paneer.
In his caption, Matt Preston wrote, “Jaipur is home to many culinary giants, whether you want lassi, paneer and mawa or fried dishes like kachori! I love it. You will also like this. And if you’re from here you’ll be obsessed with it. And part of it is people who still want to do things the right way; traditional way; The way their grandfathers and grandmothers did it.”
