H1N1 The major difference between swine flu and seasonal flu that is affecting Delhi-NCR residents, you should know

Flu influenza is a disease caused by virus, which multiplies inside the body, causing symptoms that include fever and sore throat. Almost everyone who has probably caught the flu at some point increases immunity against the virus that caused the disease. Therefore, in the past, there have been many people who were immune for whoever was walking around the seasonal flu. The H1N1 flu strain was caused by a completely new virus that had never spread before. Because of that, no one is considered any resistance to this virus.

Most of the hospitals in Delhi-NCR are now overwhelmed with concerned citizens, concerned about diagnosis

Every year during the change in weather, most people fall ill with symptoms such as sore throat, cold, cough, prolonged fever and body pain. However, many people do not know what really diagnosis is. In the last few days, Delhi -NCR has seen standing growth in cases such as flu, which also mimic the symptoms of Kovid -19.
According to reports, more than 50 percent of residents are said to have at least one member in the family with symptoms of H5N1 or swine flu virus, including high fever and sore throat. However, most of the hospitals are now overwhelmed by concerned citizens, concerned about diagnosis.

How to differentiate between H1N1 and seasonal flu?

Doctors say that the virus which causes seasonal flu, also known as influenza A, changes slightly every year, but changes are very small, and most people have some resistance to the virus. According to experts, this year, the spread flu virus is new and different that many people, especially young people, do not resist much.
This is the reason that so many people – especially children and elderly – are ill with H1N1 flu in spring.
Influenza subtypes are currently found in people of Virus H1N1 and H3N2. Each year flu vaccine includes these strains and varieties of influenza B.

H1N1 Flu’s Key Features of Strain

The main symptoms of the new H1N1 flu strain are:
  • Sudden fever
  • Cough
  • sore throat
  • Tiredness
  • Stuffed nose
  • Headache

Doctors say that some people also experience gastrointestinal symptoms, such as nausea or diarrhea. It is believed that it is different from seasonal flu.

Most people experience mild disease for several days and then heal.
However, some people experience a serious illness, so care should be taken. In particular, chronic diseases such as diabetes or asthma, as well as pregnant women, children and the elderly, are more risk for serious illness than others.

What are influenza transmission routes?

To know how to stop the spread of flu, first it should be understood how the flu is broadcast among the people. Influenza is mainly circulated in two ways:

Droplet transmission

The flu is spread through the breath of droplets that is expelled when an infected person coughing or sneezing. They are at high risk of infection within the area affected by cough or sneezing.

Contact broadcast

The infected people spread saliva or nasal mucous hand to the hand or contact them with contact with things like strips hanging on dorknobs and trains.
However, influenza viruses cannot infect people only through skin contact. The infection catches when the person touches the mucous membrane of his mouth or his nose or eyes with his hand.

Ways to protect yourself from any kind of flu

Some ways to stop the flu from obtaining and spreading include:
  • Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you sneeze or cough
  • If you do not have any tissue, sneeze or cough in your elbow
  • Be sure to wash your hands several times a day with soap and water, especially if you enter the house from outside
  • Do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth
  • Avoid meeting sick people
