At first, the idea of a vada pav sandwich may sound strange, but trust us, it tastes incredibly delicious. This unique snack is perfect to brighten up your breakfast time and will also pair perfectly with your evening tea. What to serve with Vada Pav Sandwich?
This vada pav sandwich tastes best when paired with mint chutney or garlic chutney. For maximum flavor, we recommend you make both at home. However, if you are less tolerant of spice, feel free to enjoy the sandwich with some tomato ketchup – it will taste just as good!
How to make Vada Pav Sandwich at home. Vada Pav Sandwich Recipe
Start by adding gram flour, salt, celery, turmeric and fruit salt in a bowl. Add water gradually to make a smooth batter. After this, heat mustard oil in a pan and add asafoetida, mustard seeds, curry leaves, garlic-chilli paste, turmeric and boiled potatoes. Squeeze the juice of one lemon and add salt as per taste. – Now apply some oil on the sandwich maker and pour the prepared gram flour batter into it. Shape the potato mixture into tikkis and place on top of the batter. Pour some more batter over it and cook until completely cooked. Your Vada Pav Sandwich is now ready to enjoy!
