How to create positive techniques that will actually improve your mental health
Mental health requires ongoing care. These fickle, practical techniques create habits that quietly increase your daily good.

Mental health is not something that you solve once and then forget like a flatpack bookshell that you hope that there will never be a decline. It is an ongoing, often messy process – a one that requires a little need for attention, intentions and creativity. The creation of positive techniques is only “not about happy ideas” or forcing a smile; It is about developing permanent habits and mentality that support your goodness, especially when life does not go for a plan. Good news? These techniques do not need to be dry or clinical – they can be stunningly individual, slightly strange and really pleasant.
Step 1: Habit Stacking, but with pleasure
You have heard of brushing your teeth while standing on one leg to improve balance, right? Now apply for that happiness. While boiling the kettle, spread your arms to the roof and yawning like a satisfied lion. waiting for the bus? Mentally list three things that you like for pigeons. (More difficult than you think.) These micro-joy adds like coins to your mental good jar.
Step 2: Schedule nothing (yes, nothing)
Your calendar is full of meetings, works and perhaps odd dentist. But where is your scheduled time to do nothing? Add it. If you want, call it “brain spa” or “existence noodle hour”. Unnecessary time gives your brain to breathe, wander and perhaps to solve the secret of the life you chew for weeks.
Step 3: Create a ‘Ta-da’ list
Two-do list are great but soul-oriented. Make a ‘Ta-Da’ list. Write what you have done today – even foolish stuff. Get out of bed? Ta-da! Did not cry while paying bills? Large scale Ta-da! It is a celebration of the current, a tick at a time.
Step 4: Befriend Funny Bits
Embrace some parts of you that increases others a eyebrow. Do you sing your plants? Dance in socks on laminated floor? Excellent. The more you accept your unique tastes, the easier it becomes to handle the moments of life of life.
