Why is it important to include Sattu Ragi Laddu in our diet?
Sattu Ragi Laddoos are a must-have snack as they are loaded with nutrients. Its main ingredient, sattu, is a protein-rich flour made by roasting and grinding chickpea lentils. Making Sattu Ragi Laddu is very simple. This recipe has been shared by digital creator Nitya Hegde @finefettlecookery on her Instagram handle. To make it, first heat ghee in a pan. When it is hot, add sattu flour and ragi flour to it. Mix well and cook it on medium flame till the aroma comes out. Meanwhile, take 10-15 cashews and 2 tbsp sunflower seeds in a blending jar. Grind the mixture till it becomes powdery. Once done, add this powder to the cooked flour mixture. Let it cool a bit. Now pour this mixture into a blender jar and add cardamom powder and jaggery for taste. Blend it. When it is still hot, make small laddus from this mixture. Let it cool for a while or serve immediately!
Bonus tip: If you are making these laddus for kids, use more ghee to make them softer and easier to chew. Garnish with their favourite dry fruits and serve!
