The freezer helps expand the shelf life of many disastrous foods. Processed food, meat, curry, soup and stew, a packet of some vegetables, and much more frozen, expand the life of these foods. Step-by-step process to store fresh peas for a long time
- Take green peas and remove their outer skin. Keep in a bowl and wash them.
- Next, in a saucepan, boil some water and add some sugar to it. Let it dissolve. Sugar helps maintain color.
- Now throw it in the peas. For two minutes, keep the heat at medium-high, and then remove from the heat.
- Add peas through a sieve. After that, quickly immerse them in regular water with ice cold water or ice pieces.
- Place the peas in this container until they are completely cold. Then, pass them once again through a sieve.
- Now, lock the zip peas in a small polyethylene bag. Make sure they are airtight. Keep these bags in a deep freezer. You can also use an airtight container. However, it is advisable to place in the zip lock bag as it takes less space.
