Internet sensation Ori, aka Orhaan Avatramani, never fails to irritate us with his unique social media posts. But let’s be honest, it’s their culinary stuff that often steals the show. Case in point: his latest Instagram video about popcorn. ICYMI, popcorn has been the talk of the town since the announcement of the new GST rules based on its sugar and spice content. In short, salted and spice-mixed popcorn (unlabeled) will attract 5% GST, while caramelized popcorn will fall under the 18% GST bracket.

In the video, Ori humorously breaks it down, showing three types of popcorn. Pointing to the salted and caramelized versions, he quipped, “Here we have ‘namkeen’ (salted) popcorn and here we have ‘non-salted’ (unsalted) popcorn. This is 5% GST “This is 18% GST, I am also 18% GST.” Umm, was Ori calling herself special? We think so! “It’s because I’m cute,” read her hilarious caption.

Well, Ory also made his appearance in the comments section and said, “Caramel popcorn is bad for financial health.” Many users reacted to Ori’s post:

One user wrote, ‘Even I can’t’

Another user wrote, “(laughing emoji) Okkkk”

A third user commented, “You are 100% GST.”

“Popcorn must be worth 25 lakhs now that it’s @orry verified now,” a fourth user wrote.

This post received a lot of reactions from Instagram users. Actresses Kim Sharma and Sophie Choudry made tearful emojis.

We are as ready as ever to see Ori’s culinary exploits. Earlier, actor Siddhant Chaturvedi had also joined him. In a video uploaded on Instagram, the two were seen enjoying the drink in an earthen cup i.e. Kulhar. While taking a sip, Ory said, “Shots from a ‘cooler’ guys.” Siddhant immediately corrected him, saying that it was not “cooler” but “kulhadGin and whiskey bottles were seen in the background on the kitchen counter. “Drank matcha for the first time!!!” Read the side note. It appears that Ori and Siddhant were enjoying drinks in Kulhar – definitely a “good” whole story.
