Robert Pattinson was deceived by assuring that his super hot tatokbokki bowl was “light spicy”.
Korean dishes are not for weak hearts. Reason? His dishes are a great combination of spices and sharp tastes. Recently, Robert Patinson tasted some authentic spicy Korean food. Robert went to Seoul with Academy Award winning director Bong June-Ho to promote his upcoming film Mickey 17Director took Robert to this Korean food adventure. In a clip posted on Instagram by Bong June-Ho, Robert is seen trying a variety of objects in a local restaurant. Despite eating such spicy foods being challenging, Robert laughed and took the maximum advantage of the experience of this cultural exchange.
Robert Patinson started his epic with the bowl of Tatokbokki. This dish, prepared from rice cake, is cooked in sweet and spicy sauce. For additional doses of zing, Gochaujung (Korean red chili paste) and gochaugaru (chili pieces) are added. Although Bong June-Ho assured Robert that Tatokbokki was “light”, it was later revealed that the director had made a joke with the actor.
Robert Pattinson accepts the taste but is unable to bear the level of the spices, exit a glass of water. He believes, “I am a child, I am really sweating in advance.” Other items displayed on the table were dumplings, Korean fried chicken and kimchi.
