Another day, another bizarre food combination, courtesy of the Internet. This time, the spotlight is on a popular dessert: cheesecake. A video of a bizarre food experiment has been shared on Instagram by Singapore-based content creator Calvin Lee. In the clip, he topped a cheesecake with baked beans straight from the can. The overlay text read, “Let’s try baked beans cheesecake.” After taking a bite, Lee found the unexpected combination surprisingly delicious, suggesting that the tangy sweetness of the beans complements the creamy richness of the cheesecake. Well, the internet had mixed reactions to the dish. While some users responded positively with heart emojis, some were angry.

“Sorry friend, I got food poisoning after seeing this,” one user wrote.

Another said, “Alternative title: How to ruin a cheesecake with one thing.”

“Please arrest him bro you ruined my favourite dessert,” one person suggested.

Echoing similar sentiments, a cheesecake fan said such experiments should be “banned”.

“Isolated prison with no windows,” one comment read.

Some wanted the Federal Bureau of Investigation to intervene.

Another person wanted to know the reason behind this experiment.

In another video, Calvin Lee challenges his taste buds by mixing dark chocolate with bitter gourd. In the clip, he melts chocolate and bitter gourd pieces together in a bowl and heats the mixture in a microwave. The caption reads, “Bitter gourd chocolate. Perfect for that friend who loves dark dark dark chocolate.”
