Estimated 13,000 people suffering from allergies in England may benefit from new tablets

Thousands of people with mite allergies of a severe dust can benefit from new daily treatment “changing life”.

The National Institute for Healthcare and Care Excellence (NICE) is recommending a daily tablet that is shown to reduce symptoms.

Dr. Experts in patients with Helen Evans-Havals, a Bornmouth GP and allergies, stated that “clearly” evidence shows that treatment was a “effective solution”.

The tablet, known as Acarizax, is the first of its kind according to a statement released by Nice.

He explained: “This drug can be a life-changing for people affected by serious symptoms including significant fatigue, crowd and facial inflammation.

“The evidence clearly shows that it provides an effective solution for those who are struggling with standard treatment.”

Acarizax, which will be available through NHS in England, works by increasing body resistance to the dust particle of the house.

Nees stated that clinical trials showed that treatment was “particularly beneficial” for those whose symptoms could not be managed by standard remedies, such as steroid nasal sprays and antihistamines.

Helen Knight, director of the Medicine Evolution in NIS, said: “This is an old, weak situation that can prevent people from going to their workplace or school.

“This drug has been found to improve symptoms, which helps people live their lives and actually has the ability to change life.”
