Cirrhosis is usually caused by long-term alcohol abuse, viral hepatitis, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, or autoimmune liver disease. raw or undercooked shellfish
Shellfish such as oysters and clams may contain bacteria that are harmful to people with cirrhosis. This can cause serious infections like Vibrio vulnificus.
red and processed meats
They are high in saturated fat and are difficult for a damaged liver to process. Stick to lean protein sources like poultry or plant-based proteins.
