How to make Jasmine Rasam at home Jasmine Rasam Recipe

The recipe of this Jasmine Rasam was shared by Chef Sneha Singhi Upadhyay on her Instagram page. First of all, grind the tomatoes and make a fine puree and keep it aside. Next, using a mortar and pestle, coarsely pound the coriander seeds, black pepper, garlic, dried red chilli and curry leaves. Heat oil in a pan and add asafoetida, cumin and red chilli, let them splutter. When aroma comes, add ground spices and cook for about a minute. Then, add tomato puree and cook for a few minutes. Add water, salt and turmeric and boil. Remove from flame, add jasmine flowers and leave the rasam for 20-30 minutes. Serve hot and enjoy!
